Role Overview

We are hiring our  first Sales Manager to build and run a high-performing sales function from the ground up. This person will initially operate as a strong individual contributor—owning the full sales cycle from lead generation to close—while laying the foundation for a future sales team.

The ideal candidate has healthcare industry experience and is comfortable selling into a regulated, niche market. You’re a proactive, “hungry” sales professional who can confidently speak with prospects, handle complex questions, and drive consistent revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution (Individual Contributor)
* Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, discovery, solution presentation, objection handling, closing, and post-sale follow up.
* Conduct 20–30+ outbound and follow-up calls per week with prospective clients in the healthcare and senior care space.
* Qualify inbound and outbound leads, understand prospect needs, and map them to the company’s services and solutions.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demos tailored to prospect requirements.
* Maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
* Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to drive revenue growth.
* Monitor performance metrics, pipeline health, and conversion rates to ensure consistent execution.
* Identify new market opportunities and contribute to business development initiatives.
* Conduct regular sales coaching, training, and performance reviews.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
* Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to support sales goals.
* Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and insights for leadership.
* Ensure CRM hygiene, accurate data entry, and adherence to sales processes.

Business Development & Market Expansion
* Research and identify new market segments, decision makers, and opportunities within the US healthcare and senior care ecosystem.
* Develop and iterate on outreach strategies (phone, email, LinkedIn, events) to drive new business.
* Gather feedback from prospects and clients to inform product/service improvements and positioning.

Account Management & Relationship Building
* Build strong, trust-based relationships with prospective and new clients.
* Ensure a smooth transition from sales to onboarding/implementation teams.
* Conduct periodic check-ins to identify upsell, cross-sell, and referral opportunities.

Foundation for a Future Sales Team
* Document and refine sales processes, playbooks, and talk tracks as you go.
* Track key metrics (conversion rates, call volumes, pipeline velocity) and report regularly to leadership.
* Over time, contribute to hiring, mentoring, and leading additional sales representatives as the team grows.

Qualifications:

Must-Have Experience & Knowledge
* Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Supervisor, preferably in a growth-oriented environment.
* 3+ years of healthcare industry experience is required (US healthcare / senior care market exposure strongly preferred).
* Demonstrated success in a sales or business development role, ideally selling professional services or B2B solutions.
* Experience managing a full sales cycle with measurable results (closed deals, revenue targets, or quota attainment).
* Experience managing and developing sales teams.
* Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data-driven insights.
* Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Skills & Traits
* Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent, professional English.
* Confident on the phone and video calls; comfortable handling questions from sophisticated or skeptical prospects.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and “hungry”—you take ownership, follow through, and don’t wait to be told what to do.
* Excellent critical thinking skills; able to understand complex prospect situations and propose structured solutions.
* Strong organization and time management; able to juggle multiple leads, follow-ups, and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
* Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, with clear, consistent communication to leadership.
