About the company:A fast-growing co-living startup that recently closed a seed round (December 2025) and is scaling rapidly, with ~25 homes expected by Spring. We specialize in a modern co-living model and are transitioning from external property managers to a fully in-house operations team.
This is a foundational hire. You’ll be the first in-house Property Manager and will play a critical role in building systems, setting standards, and eventually leading a small team.
The Role
We’re hiring aLead Property Managerto own day-to-day property operations across our co-living portfolio. This person will serve as the operational backbone of the business—managing tenants, vendors, and maintenance while helping us scale efficiently.
You will start as a hands-on operator and quickly evolve into a team lead, beginning with managing a part-time weekend VA.
Key Responsibilities
Tenant Operations
* Monitor and respond to tenant chats, questions, and issues

* Ensure a high-quality tenant experience aligned with our co-living brand
* Escalate urgent issues appropriately and handle time-sensitive matters
Maintenance & Vendor Management
* Coordinate and manage maintenance vendors

* Oversee recurring services (lawn care, cleaning, pest control)

* Ensure issues are resolved quickly and cost-effectively

Ideal Candidate Profile
* 5–7+ yearsof experience in multifamily, vacation, or short-term rental (STR) property management

* The company is using Padsplit, but experience in other property management software is a plus
