About the CompanyWe are a well-established, family-owned U.S.-based home and property services company serving the greater Boston area for more than 30 years. What began as a single service line has grown, through acquisition and a reputation for quality, into a full portfolio of residential and commercial offerings — including cleaning, landscaping, irrigation, exterior maintenance, repairs and handyman work, property management, and detailing. Our growth to date has come almost entirely through referrals and repeat business, a testament to the reliability our clients count on.

About the RoleThis is the first dedicated outbound role in our company's history, and it exists to build something we have never had: a proactive lead pipeline. For three decades, new business has come to us. We now have a large base of past and current customers — and a wider local market — that has never been proactively contacted about the full range of services we offer.

You will own the top of our sales funnel: researching and building prospect lists, reaching out to homeowners and commercial clients, gauging interest across our service lines, and booking qualified estimate appointments for our local team to close on-site. You are not expected to close deals or be a technical expert in every service. Your job is to open doors, spark interest, and deliver warm, qualified opportunities to the right person on our team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Market Research
* Research and build targeted prospect lists across residential and commercial segments
* Identify opportunities to introduce additional services to existing and past customers
* Proactively recommend data sources, tools, and outreach strategies to strengthen the pipeline
Outbound Outreach & Qualification
* Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to prospects and past customers
* Gauge interest across multiple service lines and qualify leads against agreed criteria
* Run structured follow-up cadences to keep opportunities moving
Appointment Setting & Handoff
* Book qualified estimate appointments for the Business Development Manager and division leads
* Provide clean, complete context on each lead so the closing team is set up to win
* Confirm appointments to minimize no-shows
CRM & Pipeline Management
* Log all outreach and lead activity accurately and consistently
* Maintain data hygiene and keep pipeline status current
* Track and report on outreach volume, conversions, and appointments set
Required Qualifications
* 2+ years in outbound lead generation, appointment setting, SDR, or inside sales, ideally serving U.S.-based customers
* Demonstrated success with high-volume cold and warm outbound calling
* Excellent spoken and written English with a clear, neutral accent and strong phone presence
* Ability to independently research and build prospect lists
* Proficiency with CRM systems and general comfort with sales tools
* Reliable availability during U.S. Eastern business hours
Preferred Qualifications
* Background in home or local services (solar, roofing, HVAC, pest control, remodeling, moving) or real estate inside sales
* Experience selling or setting appointments across multiple products or services
* Experience building outreach lists from scratch and sourcing prospect data
* Familiarity with U.S. small-business or homeowner audiences
Ideal Candidate ProfileYou are:
* A proactive hunter who takes initiative rather than waiting for direction
* Resilient and unfazed by rejection on the phone
* Highly organized and disciplined with follow-up and CRM data
* Comfortable operating in a build-it-as-you-go environment without a perfect playbook
* Resourceful — you find the list, the tool, or the angle rather than asking for it
* Personable and trustworthy on the phone, able to build rapport quickly
Why Join Us
* Ground-floor role: you will help build our outbound function from scratch and shape how it works
* Stability: a profitable, family-owned company with 30+ years of steady growth
* Impact: your work directly drives revenue, and your results will be visible to leadership
* Growth: as the function proves out, there is room to grow with it

Tips for South African Applicants

Timezone Advantage

South Africa (SAST, UTC+2) overlaps well with European business hours and has a few hours of overlap with US East Coast. Mention your timezone flexibility in your application.

Salary in Context

Even without a listed salary, international remote roles typically pay 2-3x more than equivalent local positions in South Africa due to the exchange rate advantage.

Application Tips

Tailor your CV to international standards — use a clean format, highlight remote work experience, and include your English proficiency. Many SA applicants succeed by emphasising their strong work ethic and cultural adaptability.

Load Shedding Preparedness

If you're applying for a remote role, having a backup power solution (UPS, inverter, or generator) and mobile data as a backup internet connection shows employers you're prepared for South Africa's infrastructure challenges.
