About the Role:We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Specialist to join our team. You will be instrumental in setting up and managing the operational layer for our international clients in the crypto space. Your ability to meticulously handle account onboarding, document workflows, and compliance will directly contribute to our clients' success. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage entity onboarding for banks and exchanges by preparing forms, compiling documents, and tracking applications to completion.
* Maintain and organize digital workspaces including shared drives, e-signing platforms, and vendor databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
* Coordinate invoice and payment schedules by consolidating invoices, checking them against contracts, and preparing monthly schedules for review.
* Serve as a key point of contact for clients, fielding requests, collecting necessary information, and providing timely updates to stakeholders.
* Coordinate KYC/KYB with external providers, ensuring requests are launched and tracked efficiently.
* Support governance administration by drafting routine minutes and resolutions and tracking regulatory filing calendars.
* Draft clear, fit-for-purpose policies for clients to ensure smooth and compliant operations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as BCOM or LLB, or a similar professional qualification (Required).
* 1–2 years of experience in a paralegal, compliance, or finance role (Required).
* Highly organized and task-oriented, with a strong attention to detail (Required).
* Strong written communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving (Required).
* Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace (Required).
* Digital literacy and the ability to learn new systems and software quickly (Required).
* Familiarity with fintech or crypto (Preferred).
* Newly qualified lawyers and candidates with CIMA or CA(SA) are encouraged to apply, experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
