About the Role:

As the Operations Manager, you will act as the primary operating executive partner to the CEO, maintaining total operational accountability for company performance and multi-market scaling. You will oversee the complete value chain—including land development, preconstruction, purchasing, field operations, sales, finance operations, and warranty. This role offers a unique opportunity to build an enterprise operating system and direct organizational growth across expanding markets.

Key Responsibilities:
* Execute the multi-year strategic roadmap and annual operating plan, holding functional leaders accountable for starts, closings, gross margins, and cash flow.
* Establish and oversee enterprise KPIs, scorecards, operating cadences, and cross-departmental accountability frameworks.
* Lead senior functional leadership across Construction, Marketing & Sales, Development, Purchasing, and Finance Operations.
* Direct operational expansion into new markets, evaluating trade capacity, launch sequencing, and structural controls prior to construction.
* Maintain oversight of corporate job costing, project budget reconciliations, working capital, and financial reporting accuracy.
* Standardize company-wide technology systems (Buildertrend, CRM, ERP) and standard operating procedures to ensure data integrity.
* Implement comprehensive enterprise risk management, contract compliance, safety standards, and dispute escalation protocols.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 8–10+ years of senior executive leadership (COO, VP of Operations, or Division President) in residential homebuilding or real estate development (Required).
* Proven track record of scaling multi-market operating business units and managing P&L accountability (Required).
* Comprehensive mastery of the full project life cycle, including acquisition, entitlements, vertical construction, sales, and corporate finance (Required).
* Exceptional capability in executive team building, performance management, and organizational design (Required).
* Deep expertise in enterprise systems (Buildertrend, CRM, Cloud Accounting) and reporting dashboards (Required).
* Master’s degree or MBA in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or Construction Management (Preferred).
