Job Opening: Medical Biller

Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST)

Full-Time, Remote Work.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies and patients for services rendered, ensuring adherence to all billing regulations.
* Review and follow up on outstanding claims, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
* Maintain accurate billing records and documentation, updating patient and payer information as necessary.
* Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance representatives, and patients to clarify and resolve billing issues.
* Monitor payment trends and assist in maintaining accounts receivable to ensure optimal cash flow.
* Stay updated on changes in billing regulations and reimbursement policies to ensure compliance.

Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Medical Billing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding.
* Proficient in various billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
* Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS), and payer requirements.
