The Role
This is our first dedicated marketing hire. You will be the engine behind our demand generation, content creation, and marketing operations. You will own our marketing tech stack end-to-end and be responsible for building repeatable, measurable processes that convert prospects into qualified meetings for our sales team. This is not a role where you will receive heavy day-to-day direction. After initial onboarding and training, you are expected to operate independently, take initiative, and drive outcomes with minimal oversight.
Core Responsibilities
Demand Generation & Outbound
• Build, execute, and optimize outbound email sequences targeting enterprise procurement, supply chain, and operations buyers using HubSpot workflows and sequences.
• Manage prospect list building and enrichment through ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and HubSpot.
• Develop and execute LinkedIn engagement strategies including connection campaigns, InMail sequences, and organic engagement on behalf of company leadership.
• Monitor campaign performance, A/B test messaging and cadences, and iterate based on data.
Marketing Operations & CRM
• Own and administer HubSpot Marketing Hub and Sales Hub, including contact management, lead scoring, lifecycle stage management, pipeline hygiene, and reporting dashboards.
• Build and maintain automated workflows for lead nurturing, MQL handoff to sales, and re-engagement sequences.
• Ensure data integrity across HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator integrations.
• Generate weekly and monthly pipeline and marketing performance reports for leadership review.
Content Creation & Brand
• Produce marketing collateral including case studies, one-pagers, sell sheets, and capability decks tailored to enterprise buyers.
• Write and schedule social media content (primarily LinkedIn) that positions Pallets of Texas as a credible, professional partner in the supply chain space.
• Draft email copy for campaigns, newsletters, and nurture sequences.
• Support the development of a referral program framework, including partner-facing materials and tracking mechanisms.
Tech Stack You Will Own
• HubSpot Marketing Hub (workflows, email, forms, landing pages, reporting)
• HubSpot Sales Hub (sequences, deals pipeline, task management)
• ZoomInfo (prospecting, data enrichment, intent signals)
• LinkedIn Sales Navigator (lead lists, InMail, engagement tracking)
• Supporting tools as needed (Canva, Google Workspace, etc.)
Requirements
Must-Have
• 2+ years of hands-on B2B marketing experience, ideally in a small or mid-market company where you wore multiple hats.
• Demonstrated proficiency with HubSpot (Marketing Hub and/or Sales Hub). HubSpot certifications are a strong plus.
• Experience building and managing outbound email campaigns and sequences.
• Strong written communication skills in English. You will be writing copy daily.
• Familiarity with prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Self-starter mentality. You take ownership, solve problems independently, and do not wait to be told what to do.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work full-time hours as an independent contractor.
Nice-to-Have
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or supply chain verticals.
• Graphic design capability (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
• Experience building referral or partner marketing programs.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn organic growth strategies and personal brand building.
• Experience working with U.S.-based companies in a remote, international capacity.
