Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Controller / Associate Controller to own and oversee day-to-day accounting operations for a growing organization with multiple entities and complex reporting requirements. This role is both hands-on and strategic, responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records while gradually elevating processes, controls, and reporting quality.

The ideal candidate is a senior-level accounting professional who is comfortable operating with minimal oversight, running the books end-to-end in Sage Intacct, and collaborating closely with U.S.-based leadership. Strong English communication, sound judgment, and a proactive mindset are critical, as this role will serve as a key partner to management in financial decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Own the day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities, maintaining accurate and timely records in Sage Intacct with minimal supervision.

* Process and review expense data from Fyle, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and seamless integration into Sage Intacct.

* Maintain general ledger integrity, including journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and intercompany activity.

* Execute and oversee monthly close, including account reconciliations, variance reviews, and preparation of financial statements.

* Prepare recurring financial reports such as liquidity summaries, NAV or management reports, and ad hoc analyses for leadership.

* Ensure accounting is maintained across multiple dimensions (e.g., tax basis, accrual basis, fair value reporting) and understand how these views interact.

* Establish, document, and refine accounting processes, controls, and reporting frameworks to support scale and audit readiness.

Required Skills and Abilities
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

* 8+ years of accounting experience, with demonstrated progression toward controller-level responsibility.

* Strong command of U.S. GAAP and full-cycle accounting across multiple entities.

* Hands-on experience running books in Sage Intacct.

* Experience processing and managing expense platforms such as Fyle or similar tools.
