They are expanding their finance team to create a specialized group dedicated to performing rigorous credit analysis on clients, vendors, and strategic counterparties to manage transaction exposure.
The Opportunity
We are seeking highly analyticalCorporate Credit Analyststo join a high-velocity, internal consulting pod. In this role, you will perform deep diligence on counterparty creditworthiness, assign internal risk ratings, and structure deal terms to mitigate collection risk. This position emphasizes accounting analysis, cash flow modeling, and understanding the borrower/client lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Credit Analysis & Rating:Conduct in-depth financial analysis of potential and existing clients/vendors, including reviewing financial statements, performing ratio analysis, and generating internal credit risk ratings.

* Cash Flow Modeling:Build and maintain models specifically designed to forecast debt service coverage, liquidity, and operational cash flow to evaluate counterparty repayment ability.

* Credit Memo Preparation:Produce comprehensive, well-structured credit memos summarizing findings, highlighting risks (e.g., industry, covenant, political), and making formal recommendations on credit extensions or contract terms.

* Client Collaboration:Partner with the sales and legal teams to structure payment terms, collateral requirements, and contractual safeguards based on assessed credit risk.

* Portfolio Monitoring:Continuously monitor the credit health of the client portfolio, identifying early warning signs and initiating remediation plans.

What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
* Deep experience in corporate credit analysis or commercial banking, with a focus on analyzing operating companies.

* Proven ability to read, interpret, and model data from full financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
