Overview

Our client, afull-service design & build home renovation firm based in NYC, is seeking aConstruction Estimatorto support high-end residential projects.

This is afull-time, back-end estimating rolefocused on reviewing plans, performing takeoffs, and delivering accurate bid packages. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and operate with a high level ofindependence, critical thinking, and attention to detail.

Primary Function

The primary function of this role is toanalyze architectural and design plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and produce accurate project estimatesto support bidding and project planning.

Key Responsibilities
* Reviewarchitectural drawings and interior design plansin detail
* Performaccurate quantity takeoffsfor high-end residential projects
* Develop and compilecomprehensive cost estimates and bid packages
* Applycritical thinking and problem-solvingto interpret incomplete or complex plans
* Collaborate with the NYC-based team to align on scope, pricing, and timelines
* Process bid sets efficiently to supportnext-day review cycles
* Maintain organized documentation of estimates, assumptions, and revisions
* Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and workflows

Required Qualifications
* 2–8 years of experience inconstruction estimating (residential preferred)
* Strong experience with:ProcoreBluebeamPlanswift
* Procore
* Bluebeam
* Planswift
* Proven ability to performdetailed takeoffs and cost analysis
* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates simultaneously
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience withhigh-end or luxury residential projects
* Familiarity with:RevitAutoCADRhino
* Revit
* AutoCAD
* Rhino
* Bilingual (English + Spanish)
* Experience working withdesign-build firms

Role Details
* Full-time, remote position
* Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible);The role demands availability for weekend/overtime work during peak periods to meet tight client deadlines. Project-based schedule.
* Must provide ~3 hours of overlap with NYC team (EST)for collaboration
* Flexible/off-cycle hours encouraged to allowovernight bid processing for next-day review
