Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned, high-impactHead of Growth / CMOto take complete ownership of our growth marketing engine, digital channel management, and creative strategy.

This is a "Strategist and Doer" role designed for a true e-commerce Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will step in as an executive partner to the Founder, removing marketing bottlenecks, holding external agencies accountable (Paid Media, Amazon, Email/Retention), and building systematic, AI-driven creative workflows.

You understand performance metrics deeply (ROAS, MER, CAC, LTV, contribution margins) and know how to build systematically to scale top-line growth while protecting bottom-line profitability.

Key Responsibilities
* Growth Marketing & Profitability Ownership:Own primary top-line and profitability metrics across all digital channels, continuously optimizing MER (Marketing Efficiency Ratio), blended ROAS, and CAC against contribution margins.
* Agency Management & Leadership:Oversee, audit, and hold external partner agencies accountable, including paid media performance marketing agencies, Amazon specialists, and email/lifecycle marketing teams.
* Systematic Creative Strategy:Partner with internal creative execution teams (onsite video/photographers and motion designers) to establish a repeatable, high-volume ad creative testing architecture for Meta, TikTok, and Google.
* AI Tool Integration:Architect and embed AI workflows into daily marketing operations to accelerate creative briefing, landing page generation, ad copy iterations, and performance reporting.
* Cross-Functional Execution:Work directly with leadership on promotional calendars, product launch strategies, and inventory forecasting alignment.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Proven E-Commerce Track Record:6+ years of growth marketing leadership experience inside scaling DTC brands ($5M to $20M+ annual revenue scale).
* Agency Oversight Experience:Demonstrated success directly managing and holding external performance marketing, retention, and Amazon agencies accountable to performance benchmarks.
* AI & Operational Efficiency:Fluent in leveraging AI tools (Midjourney, ChatGPT, Claude, Runway, or custom LLM workflows) to build lean, scalable marketing operations.
* Data Mastery:Deep understanding of e-commerce financial ratios, attribution models, Google Analytics 4, Shopify analytics, and post-purchase survey data.
* Communication & Availability:Flawless written and spoken English with full availability during US business hours.
