Position:Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Type:Full-Time Remote Contractor (40 hours/week)

Schedule:US Eastern Standard Time (EST) | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST

Position Overview

We are seeking a personable, highly articulateSales Development Representative (SDR)based in South Africa (3–4 years of experience) to join our team as an outbound appointment setter.

We are selling a clear, tangible offering directly to down-to-earth local business owners, studio directors, and youth program founders. We want someone with a warm, conversational, and approachable style who can build prospect lists, pick up the phone, build immediate rapport, and book introductory meetings for our founders.

Key Responsibilities

1. List Building & Lead Generation
* Prospect Identification:Research and build targeted prospect lists of local after-school programs, gymnastics clubs, swim schools, martial arts studios, dance academies, and youth sports facilities across target US markets.
* Contact Scraping & Verification:Identify decision-makers (owners, founders, general managers) and gather verified email addresses, phone numbers, and social profiles.

2. Outbound Outreach & Appointment Setting
* Multi-Channel Prospecting:Execute consistent daily outbound campaigns utilizing cold calling, personalized email outreach, and LinkedIn messaging.
* Conversational Engagement:Connect directly with local business owners, using an approachable, non-pushy sales style to explain how we help boost youth enrollment.
* Meeting Booking:Qualify interested owners and schedule introductory discovery calls directly onto our founders' calendars.

3. CRM Management & Sales Administration
* HubSpot Hygiene:Log all activity, call notes, contact updates, and scheduled meetings accurately inHubSpot CRM(or similar sales tracking system).
* Pipeline Tracking:Monitor lead status, ensure timely follow-ups on warm inquiries, and track booked meetings through to attendance.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required
* Sales Experience:3–4 years of outbound sales, appointment setting, or business development experience (preferably B2C sales, local business outreach, or straightforward service offerings).
* Conversational Communication:Excellent written and spoken English with a warm, humble, and friendly phone demeanor. You know how to build instant trust with local small-business owners.
* Cold Calling Comfort:Complete willingness and comfort with high-volume outbound calling, email, and social outreach.
* CRM Literacy:Hands-on experience working insideHubSpot CRM(preferred) or a similar CRM platform, with strict habits around data entry and pipeline tracking.
* Schedule Alignment:Ability to work full-time hours aligned with US Eastern Standard Time (EST) approximately from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST.

Preferred (Big Pluses)
* Personal Passion:A genuine interest or personal background in youth education, sports, and activities that enrich kids and help unlock their confidence and full potential.
* Local Business Sales:Experience calling on local brick-and-mortar business owners, franchise owners, or community organizers.
