Job Title: Senior Accountant

Focus:Accounts Payable, Multi-Entity Accounting & Month-End CloseLocation:Remote | Full-Time | Independent ContractorWorking Hours: Monday - Friday Business hours CSTCompensation:$3,000 – $4,500 USD/month

About the Role

Our client is a growing investment and operating group managing multiple entities, including operating companies and a non-profit organization. As the portfolio expands, they are looking for aSenior Offshore Accountantto take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations across several entities.

This isnot a bookkeeping role. The ideal candidate will manage core accounting processes includingaccounts payable, general ledger management, and month-end close, while helping improve financial workflows in a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable
* Manage the full AP cycle across multiple entities
* Process invoices, perform GL coding, and maintain AP records
* Prepare payment runs (ACH, wire, check)
* Reconcile vendor accounts and maintain AP aging reports
* Ensure proper documentation and approval workflows

Multi-Entity Accounting
* Maintain accurate books across multiple entities
* Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations
* Ensure consistent chart-of-accounts structure

Month-End Close
* Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
* Prepare accruals, journal entries, and GL adjustments
* Support monthly and quarterly close processes

Financial Reporting
* Assist with preparing P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
* Support external accountants during audits and tax preparation

Systems & Process Improvement
* Help document accounting workflows and SOPs
* Improve financial processes and reporting structure
* Work primarily with QuickBooks Online and Ramp

Requirements
* 4–7+ years of accounting experience
* Experience inmulti-entity accounting environments
* Strong experience withaccounts payable and month-end close
* Experience preparingfinancial reports
* StrongExcel and reconciliation skills
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred
* Experience at firms such as Ernst & Young, Deloitte, PwC, or KPMG
* Experience supportingUS-based companies
* Background inhigh-volume transaction environments(construction, operations, or PE-backed companies)

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 90 days, the successful hire will:
* Take full ownership of accounts payable across entities
* Stabilize and improve the month-end close process
* Establish structured accounting workflows and reporting
