About the Role: This crucial Senior Sales Development Representative role is integral to driving our outbound sales strategy and significantly enhancing our market presence in the technical certification space. You'll be instrumental in building out our outbound function, engaging potential clients, and nurturing leads with a consultative approach. We are seeking a self-motivated, independent, and highly skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle complex technical subjects with confidence and clarity. This role also involves account management, nurturing relationships, and identifying upsell opportunities for additional certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive outbound sales strategies to engage potential clients for our certification services.

● Manage a diverse range of leads including inbound (webinar leads, website interest), warm outbound (event attendees, known high-value prospects), and cold outbound (competitor targeting).

● Handle all follow-ups, outreach, and relationship nurturing to guide prospects through the sales funnel.

● Contribute significantly to building and refining the outbound sales function, requiring minimal hand-holding.

● Participate in consultative sales discussions, effectively conveying complex technical certification information (e.g., food safety standards).

● Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through targeted outreach and consistent follow-up.

● Nurture client relationships and identify opportunities for upselling additional certifications.

● Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance lead generation efforts and market reach.

● Attend industry webinars and events to network, identify new opportunities, and generate leads.

● Provide valuable feedback on market trends and client needs to inform and improve our service offerings.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

● 3-5+ years of proven senior-level experience in B2B sales, preferably in a technical or food-related industry.

● Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills (near-native proficiency with a minimal accent) are crucial.

● Strong understanding of sales psychology and methodology.

● Ability to understand and clearly convey complex technical subjects and certification language.

● Highly self-motivated, autonomous self-starter, and able to work independently without constant supervision.

● Strong critical thinking skills and a fast learner, capable of handling ambiguity and navigating "curveballs."

● Confident communicator who can "read the room" and engage in targeted, consultative selling.

● Demonstrated ability to close deals independently.

● Proficient in managing lead funnels and CRM systems.

● A competitive nature balanced with humility and ethics.
