About the Role:
We are seeking for a Sales Development Representative who is focused on driving growth by identifying and engaging potential clients. Sitting at the front of the sales funnel, this role is responsible for opening conversations, qualifying opportunities, and helping build a strong pipeline of brands for Crowdmakers.
You’ll work closely with leadership by passing high-quality, qualified leads while also contributing insights on market trends and opportunities.
What You’ll Do:
Sales Development & Partnerships
* Identify and research brands that are a strong fit for Crowdmakers
* Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other channels
* Initiate conversations and qualify potential opportunities
* Pass qualified leads to the CEO for closing
* Provide feedback on market insights, trends, and emerging opportunities
Prospecting & Outreach
* Identify and target experience, bars, restaurants, nightlife venues, and event organizers
* Conduct outbound outreach via calls, email, and social platforms
* Generate new leads through networking and industry research
* Qualify prospects and identify client needs
Closing & Deal Management
* Support on sales calls, presentations, and proposal discussions
* Clearly communicate the value of marketing services to prospects
* Negotiate pricing and contract terms
* Close deals and ensure smooth handoff to the account management team
Client Relationship Management
* Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
* Maintain ongoing communication to identify upsell opportunities
* Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
* Act as a trusted advisor within the hospitality marketing space
Collaboration & Feedback
* Work closely with marketing and operations teams to align on client needs
* Provide feedback from the field to improve service offerings
* Help refine sales messaging and positioning based on market response
Requirements:
* 4–7+ years of experience in Sales, Business development, or Account management
* Proven track record of closing deals and hitting revenue targets
* Experience selling services (marketing, advertising, or related fields preferred)
* Strong understanding of the hospitality, experiences, nightlife, or events industry
* Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting to close
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Self-motivated with a strong results-driven mindset
Technical Skills:
* CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
* Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (for pipeline tracking and reporting)
* Communication tools (Zoom, Slack, email platforms)
* Comfortable using sales engagement tools and outreach platforms
Nice to Have:
* Existing network within bars, restaurants, nightlife, or event spaces
* Experience selling event marketing or promotional services
* Background in digital marketing or paid media sales
* Experience working in a startup or fast-growth environment
* Familiarity with contract negotiation and pricing strategy
